First, the data from the existing system was converted, creating an online catalog whose content was identical to the old one. Meanwhile, D\u00fccker began adapting its data maintenance processes, enabling the generation of initial test data from the ERP system. After deciding against internal data conversion, the development of a pre-processor was commissioned. It eliminates all the costs associated with building, operating, and maintaining a corresponding infrastructure, as well as the need to develop and maintain the necessary expertise.
