SpareParts 365 - General, functionality & more
You can use SpareParts 365 to create and publish spare parts catalogs and to sell spare parts via the Internet. Users (customers, own service staff) can easily identify the right spare parts online via a portal and order them directly. The catalogs can also be used offline on mobile devices.
Spare parts catalogs created manually in Excel, Word or PDF format can be sufficient for pure documentation purposes. However, they are not suitable for a professional solution for identifying and selling spare parts on the Internet.

The established solutions are partly based on 20-year-old concepts and technologies that are now outdated. Our decades of experience in the field of electronic spare parts catalogs enable us to meet the current requirements with modern tools and to offer a powerful, cost-effective solution that is easy to implement and intuitive to use.
Of course, there are features of established products that SpareParts 365 does not (yet) include. However, many of these functions are only part of the traditional solutions for historical reasons or are not required by the majority of companies. They increase complexity and make it difficult to learn and use the software.

For the go-live of SpareParts 365, we limit ourselves to the range of functions which, in our experience, should be sufficient for a large number of use cases. We consciously refrain from feature lists with lots of buzzwords and cloudy announcements.
The further development of SpareParts 365 largely depends on your feedback and your requirements. Of course, we have lots of our own ideas for further developments.

Our motto: Simplify! We achieve this, for example, by deliberately avoiding the "reuse of assemblies", which in practice causes more problems than brings benefits. SpareParts 365 does not require the generated of any so called “header records” - as a rule, the data from upstream systems can be read directly via standard import.

If you are already using a professional spare parts solution, you have probably already taken the most important step. Because you provide the relevant data in an organized and consistent manner for automated processing. Your data - either from the source systems or from the catalog software - can then be transferred to SpareParts 365 either directly or with little adjustment effort.

Special cases such as the interactive editing of catalog data or the creation of complete catalog databases for Windows ("CD catalogs") are currently not possible with SpareParts 365.

SpareParts 365 - Security
If you use the cloud operating variant we offer, your data will be hosted by a well-known German provider in a data center certified in accordance with DIN ISO / IEC 27001. The strict European data protection regulations are met at all times.
With the free entry-level version of SpareParts 365, you can start without risk and convince yourself of the performance of our solution. If you then opt for our subscription model, there are no investment costs. You have a three-month notice period and the option to export all imported and processed catalog data for further use.
Of course, we cannot predict the future. However, we can assure you that we will continue to develop SpareParts 365 as our core product and expand it in step with customer requirements. And we can say: Our software is based on the latest technologies and open standards.
Service & Support
That depends entirely on your specific requirements.
If your initial data is of good quality, you can set up and use SpareParts 365 independently using the documentation.
As a rule, however, we would recommend that you take a few days of advice to help you get started.
If your requirements are on a more demanding level, our complete package of services is available to you, from support with the requirements analysis to project-specific adaptations or extensions of our software.
We usually support you "remotely", i.e. in the context of web meetings, e-mails, telephone calls or remote maintenance.
When switching from a previous system to SpareParts 365, the first step will be to check which data can be transferred from the previous system.
We will of course support you with the migrating this data and importing it to SpareParts 365.
If there are specialties in your existing system, such as connections to third-party systems, we can of course also implement these for you.
