An investigation into a spare parts solution for the custom machinery manufacturing sector, using the SpareParts365 system for Uth GmbH as an example

For more than 35 years, Uth GmbH has been providing innovative solutions for the rubber industry worldwide. The company does not limit itself to the manufacture of standard machines, but also offers system solutions and bespoke specialised machinery.

In order to be able to provide its customers with the appropriate original spare parts as quickly as possible in the event of a fault, a bachelor’s thesis investigated the cost-benefit ratio of using a ready-made electronic spare parts catalogue solution in terms of system compatibility and scalability. The aim was to formulate specific recommendations for Uth GmbH.
